Dr. Lamielle earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry (Columbus, OH) in 2004. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Zoology from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) in 1999. He is professionally trained and skilled in all facets of dentistry, including cosmetic and restorative procedures.

I have a 7, 9, 11, and 13-year-old. The staff at Hilliard Modern Dental was able to get them all in and taken care of in less than an hour. They are great with the kids. Highly recommend!

Based on a friend’s reference I went to Hilliard modern after my long term dentist retired.
Been going now for 3 or 4 yrs and couldn’t be more pleased. No hard sell just good dental care! Great people!

I’ve always had great experiences with the dentist and hygienists at this office, which makes this situation even more disappointing. The staff has always been incredibly kind to me, especially when I’ve had to bring my baby along to appointments, and I truly appreciated how understanding and welcoming they were.
I recently received a $30 bill from a visit back in October that I genuinely didn’t realize existed (despite receiving a statement in November) because I always pay before leaving appointments. In fact, I was there last week and specifically asked if I had any balance due and was only told about the fluoride charge from that visit, which I paid at the appointment.
When I called to ask a couple questions so I could better understand the $30 charge, the front office staff member, Angel, was extremely rude and dismissive from the beginning. During the conversation she asked, “Jazmin, are you refusing to pay?” even after I explained multiple times that I was simply trying to understand the charge and why I had not been made aware of it sooner.
At one point, I told her I didn’t appreciate the way she was speaking to me and that I felt like I was annoying her just by asking questions. Her response was simply, “okay.” She then asked if I wanted to speak to a manager. The entire interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational and uncomfortable over a $30 bill that I paid immediately after the call.
This was never about refusing payment — it was about asking reasonable questions and expecting to be treated respectfully as a patient. You truly never know what someone may be going through personally, and because of that, it’s important to be mindful of how you speak to people and how your tone or attitude may come across.
It’s unfortunate because the dentist and hygienists have always been wonderful, but this interaction alone has honestly made me and my family decide we will not be returning to the practice.

I went to this practice to ask about Botox injections to treat my TMJ. I got the injections and they are significantly reducing my pain. The staff is very friendly and do an excellent job of communicating. I knew exactly what my financial liability would be before I walked in the door. Great job!

Front office staff/manager was terrible to deal with. Bills were always off and had to fight with them to correct it for FSA to cover it. At one point they printed off my statement and it had a negative balance after insurance payment. They said they didn’t owe me the money back. I started to question if they’re doing something “questionable” with their billing and insurance. Finally had enough of the billing issues and went somewhere else. Not to mention, the Dr dropped a crown down my throat while trying to place it. Luckily I cough it up on it flew out in the ground. They washed it and put it in. Crazy. Glad to be out of there. UPDATE to your boilerplate response. We can all say we do these things publicly, but actually doing them is different.

Dentist and hygienist are great, but the front desk is lacking, no follow through, goes to voice mail half the time without return calls, difficult to schedule an appointment and general lack of knowledge, assumes things without looking at your records, very frustrating
